Classical Rock Orchestra Camp

Hi Folks! We’re thinking or starting up our Classical Rock Orchestra program again – for ALL AGES and playing levels – yay! It would be held here at 27 Pipers Green Court, Kitchener, ON, but scheduled differently than in the past. Previously, it was held in July for one week from 9:00am – 4:00pm. We would like to change this to one day per week, in the evening, for a period of time (6 – 8 weeks, TBD) over the summer 2024. Depending on the number of participants and their playing levels, we could possibly have Jr. and Sr. time slots. Each session would be 1hr for the junior division and 1.5hrs for the seniors. There would also be a concert that would include all players at the end of the program.

What we’re looking for right now are those who would be interested in participating in this orchestral program so we can get a feel for the feasibility of running the program. The fees would depend on the number of participants. We would be opening this up to: violinists, violists, cellists, bassists, 1 drummer, 1 or 2 keyboard/piano players, and possibly a vocalist or two. Please pass the word onto your musical friends!

The CROC is a unique string program for ALL AGES, presented by Daly Music Academy, with music specially arranged for Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass players to experience the energy and excitement of Rock music in 8 weekly sessions – PLUS concert!
