Bio:

Dave La Fame’s entertainment career began in London, U.K., as a teenager, playing bass guitar and singing with various bands in schools and pubs. In 1981, he was cast as “Kenicke” in a London stage production of the musical “Grease”. Roles in the theatre continued in productions of “Alfie”, “Entertaining Mr. Sloane”, “Straight-Up” and more. During this time he also began hosting comedy nights and performing stand-up routines at pubs & clubs in London.

In 1984, Dave moved to Canada. Since then, he has been seen doing everything from acting in movies & beer commercials to singing “Oh Canada” at gala events. In 1998, Dave La Fame produced his self-titled one-man show featuring impersonations of music’s biggest stars. From Sinatra to Elvis. From all three Bee Gees to Freddie Mercury. In fact, over 100 different personalities. This show has seen much success in the corporate market. Being hired to emcee corporate events has been a long established role for La Fame. He is a ring announcer and analyst for professional boxing events across Canada. Dave La Fame is also the front man for the 10-piece Rhythm n Blues band “Uptown Express”.
