Inspired by the elegance of the Vienna Ball Season and the extravagance of the Venetian Carnival, the Waterloo Masquerade brings together all the elements that make for an authentically magical night.
The type of magic you can only feel when you are dancing along to a full live orchestra!
St. George Banquet Hall, in North Waterloo, will be where the Masquerade will take place on February 18th. The premises boasts with ample parking and and elegant old-continent style atmosphere.
The Waterloo Masquerade is a white tie event, which is the most formal dress code in Western Fashion. Although a dress code is in effect, creative costumes are not only welcomed but encouraged as part of the dual-inspiration for the event. Exquisite costumes are a central component to any masquerade and one of its most appealing elements. The perfect mask is a must as is elegance to any ball. *A prize will be awarded to the best costumes.
The evening will boast with a twenty-four piece Orchestra providing you with an extensive repertoire of waltzes and tangos. Dancers will have the opportunity to enjoy both the English or Slow Waltz as well as the Viennese Waltz. An ample dance floor will allow for everyone to join and participate in the sea of dancers.
Complementary hors d’oeuvres will be provided throughout the evening. There will also be several cash bars for your convenience.
